Why are my images not displayed in the mailing?
By default, image files are blocked by most email programs for security reasons. They are only displayed after clicking “Show images” or “Download images.” Unfortunately, as a sender, you cannot influence this since it is a security-related feature.
However, there is an option to send images using the "Inboundimages" function. This attaches the images to the email and displays them directly in the mailing. However, this method has several disadvantages:
- The email size increases, which can negatively affect your spam rate.
- Emails sent via MAILINGWORK also become larger. Since the mail size is contractually limited to an average of 100 KB per email, frequent sending of large emails may result in additional charges.
- Another significant point: Open rates cannot be accurately measured because the tracking pixel is not loaded.
You can enable the Inboundimages option in your mailing under Advanced Settings > Type and Format > Content.
By default, this option is disabled.
