When merging duplicate subscribers, campaign participants are now transferred to the surviving (= oldest) subscriber ID. The campaign position and existing history are preserved. Previously, the merge deleted the newer subscriber ID, causing this participant to leave the campaign. Depending on the default settings, this participant then re-entered the campaign under the changed subscriber ID resulting from the merge.
When distributing campaigns, you can now apply changed campaign structures to target accounts. Previously, differing structures resulted in an error. A new option now allows you to decide whether the existing structure in the target account should be overwritten. If the option is disabled, the behavior remains unchanged. If enabled, the campaign structure from the source account is applied to the target account. Existing subscribers are assigned to corresponding elements where possible; if no assignment is possible, they are removed from the campaign.
The API has also been extended: the ShareDownCampaignByIdfunction now supports the parameteroverwriteCampaignStructureto allow structure changes. To ensure consistent mapping of elements, an automatically generated internal identifier has been introduced, which can be viewed when editing a campaign element.
The following information is primarily relevant for account administrators: You can now manage the IP-based access restriction for logging into your account yourself. This security feature was previously only available internally.
With our whitelabeling editor, you can customize your account layout to match your corporate design. You can now upload logos with a higher resolution, up to a maximum size of 720 × 340 px. In addition, SVG files are now supported.
To make setting up new users easier in User Management, you can use the new “Send set-password email” button on the “Login” tab. The user will receive a message at their registered email address to quickly and securely set a new password. You can also use this for existing users if they ask for help despite the “Forgot password” link in the login form.
As announced, archived standard emails will be automatically and regularly deleted 3 years after their send date, including their statistics. A corresponding notice appears in the email archive overview.
This does not affect campaign and dialog emails, nor:
Standard emails that are active as the resend email of an opt-in setup
Standard emails used in target group conditions, e. g. in target groups assigned in current standard emails or campaigns
If a 3-year retention period isn’t sufficient for you, please see the instructions for exporting archived emails and the associated statistics.
SendEmailByIdAndRecipient. For details, see the API cangelog. You can suspend users in the tab "Login" without deleting them. Suspended users can no longer log in, but all their roles and data remain unchanged — ideal for internal suspensions due to longer absences or similar use cases.
Optional multi-factor authentication (MFA) protects your account with a second factor in addition to your password.
We have updated this feature in three key ways:
Easier to enable: Previously, MFA was only activated upon request. Starting now, any user with administrator permissions can enable MFA themselves. The setting can be found in the new "Account Settings" menu item in the profile menu at the top right.
Single or multi-account: MFA can be activated for individual accounts or, with one click, for all subaccounts of a multi-account.
Authentication app instead of SMS: In the "My Settings" menu, each user can now choose whether they want to receive the login code via email or via an authentication app (TOTP) / password manager. On the first login after MFA activation, they will be guided through the required steps. This also applies to users who previously used SMS as a second factor, because the SMS option is no longer available as of now.
Our company is now operating under the new legal name "Positive Group Chemnitz GmbH". The MAILINGWORK brand remains unchanged — and so do your existing contacts.
As part of this change, new took effect on 2025-06-01.
We have significantly improved the send speed of campaign and transactional emails. Delivery now usually happens within just a few seconds, similar to what was previously only possible using the API function SendEmailByIdAndRecipientAsynchronous.
Transactional emails are typically sent to an individual user right after they perform an action. Examples include a campaign welcome email or an order confirmation sent using the API function SendEmailByIdAndRecipient. For details, see the API cangelog.
In the campaign overview, you'll now find a new "Column selection" button in the top right. You can use it to define which columns are shown and in which order — similar to the email overview and email statistics.
If your campaigns contain very long descriptions, you can replace the existing "Description" column with the new "Full description" column.
User Management now supports usernames up to 255 characters instead of 50. This allows you to use, for example, a very long email address as a username.
The combination of the Export Wizard and mailing tags is a powerful tool to export and analyze mailing statistics according to your individual requirements.
The Export Wizard already supports using tags as a filter to select which mailings should be included. Independently from that, you can now also include the tags directly in the export file. To do this, go to the "Mailing details" section and enable the new output column "Tags". You can use tags, for example, to group your mailings by editor, client, topic, or customer type.
⭢ Send volume overruns". This allows you to monitor send volume overruns of your subaccounts.
