User Roles

User Roles

The User Roles function gives you precise control over which areas and features in Mailingwork are accessible to different users. By defining customized role profiles, you can tailor access rights exactly to the tasks and responsibilities of your team members.

Key features:

  • Creation of individual role profiles with specific permissions
  • Detailed rights assignment for various functional areas
  • Configurable password policies per role
  • Assignment of multiple roles to one user possible
  • Hierarchical access management with special status of the account administrator

In Mailingwork, there is a clear separation between the account administrator and all other users. The account administrator (the first created user) has comprehensive, unrestricted rights and cannot be modified or deleted by other users. For all other users, you define access rights through user roles.

Rights management is organized into thematic areas, such as subscriber rights, mailing rights, statistics rights, and more. For each area, you can determine whether a user may create, edit, or delete elements. If none of these actions is activated, the corresponding function is hidden in the user interface.

Special attention should be paid to rights for managing users and user roles, as these open up far-reaching possibilities. A user with these rights could grant themselves additional permissions or change their role.
