Profile Manager

Profile Manager

The Profile Manager function allows your subscribers to independently update and supplement their personal data, which improves data quality and strengthens the relationship with your recipients.

Key features:

  • Self-management of subscriber data by recipients
  • Pre-filled forms with existing subscriber data
  • Update of email addresses and other contact information
  • Subsequent addition of interests and preferences
  • Management of newsletter subscriptions via list selection
  • Adjustment of consent to the collection of personal data

With the Profile Manager, you create forms that allow your subscribers to update their personal data at any time. A typical use case is changing the email address or adding missing information such as areas of interest. The link to the Profile Manager is embedded in your newsletters or landing pages and takes the subscriber to a pre-filled form with their current data.

The form editor offers you extensive design options through drag & drop. You can insert any subscriber fields, change their position, and adjust their properties such as labeling, width, or required field status. Particularly useful is the ability to insert a list selection that allows your subscribers to manage their newsletter subscriptions themselves.

In the advanced settings, you can specify whether you want to be informed about profile changes via email and whether the changed data should be transferred to your own systems via HTTP forwarding. In addition, individual dialog pages can be set up for different situations in the update process to provide your subscribers with a consistent brand experience.

An important difference to registration and unsubscription forms is that the source code of the Profile Manager resides directly on MAILINGWORK's servers. This means that changes to the form are immediately visible live, without you having to manually update the code on your website. For advanced customizations, the Profile Manager also offers you the option to extend the automatically generated source code with your own HTML, CSS, and JavaScript additions.
