How can file attachments be personalized?

First, upload all versions of the attachment, either to your own server or to our webspace (Modules -> Webspace). For example, if you want to use different attachments for target groups by state, the files could be named Bayern.pdf, Hessen.pdf, Sachsen.pdf, etc.

Create a new subscriber field under Subscribers -> Subscriber Fields. Give it a name and alias, for example, "Attachment_URL." The alias is crucial as it will later be used as a placeholder.

Enter the desired attachment file name for each subscriber into the newly created subscriber field, typically via import in "update and add" mode.

Within your mailing, go to the 'Attachment' tab and click 'Attach File.' Do not select a file; instead, enable the 'Attachment from external source' checkbox. In the top input field, enter the placeholder of the subscriber field that contains the attachment file name. In our example, this would be [Attachment_URL].

If you want to attach multiple files, create additional subscriber fields accordingly and repeat the process. Please use test sending to test the attachment function with different personalizations.
