The SMS Blacklist is your central tool for systematically excluding certain phone numbers or number ranges from receiving your SMS messages. This function helps you precisely control the recipient base of your SMS campaigns.
Key features:
How it works: All phone numbers entered in the SMS Blacklist are automatically filtered out before sending. This happens in the background and ensures that your SMS contingent is not burdened by unwanted deliveries. The blacklist mechanism works completely transparently – subscribers with blocked numbers do not notice that they are excluded from the sending.
The SMS Blacklist offers you special flexibility through the possibility of using wildcards (%). This allows you to block entire area code regions or number ranges with a single entry. When entering international numbers, the notation with plus sign (+) should be used, and for maximum coverage, you should enter the numbers without separators.
After sending, you can see in the SMS statistics how many blacklist entries were considered during the sending, giving you a good overview of the effectiveness of your blacklist settings.
